| Dr. Ruiz-Friel has been living and practicing surgery in San Antonio since 1997. After graduating from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, P.R. in 1991, she completed her training in Brooklyn, New York in General Surgery from 1991 - 1996.
She has active privileges at Baptist Health System where she works as a general surgeon covering the North Central, Stone Oak, Alamo Heights and Downtown areas.
